Crafted in a similar style and tradition as the Moscatel wines of Portugal, this special limited-production wine was made exclusively from our Estate Clone 809 Chardonnay grapes, which shows some beautiful intense muscat characteristics. The whole-cluster grapes were foot treaded to release juice for skin contact, which was a period of several hours. After pressing, the juice was settled in tank for 48 hours before being transferred to French oak barrels. Fermentation was arrested with the addition of barrel-aged brandy, and aged in barrel for ten years.
